So I got home from work and Laura told me that Moto seemed to be hurt. Indeed he was. Walking around, crying, looking for attention. The other puppies would come up to him and he would squeeeeeeeeeeeeeal. So I picked him up and did a thorough examination (and watched him walk around) and couldn't find any particular cause of it.
The rational thought is he probably just tweaked something. This is the first time he's experienced pain, it's scary. It'll be cool. But how hard is it to watch your little baby be in pain? I put him up on the couch and he went to sleep. I decided whatever it was didn't merit emergency vet, but Laura and I were sad all night.
This morning he's fine. Big wussy.
I'm really in trouble. I need to find him a home so badly because I really really really am not ready for a third dog (Yishai's is his dog, but let's face it, on some level she's mine) and because I love him. He's such a perfect little boy. But I can't just give him to a loving family home. He's going to need more work than that. He needs a home . . . like mine. Sheesh.

We kept our leftover pup for 5 months and in the end she got a great home. Hang in there.
