They are getting too big for their box, I think, but I really want to keep them in there as long as I can. It's a lot lower maintenance and they have a good surface to learn about walking on, whereas the linoleum that I have down isn't so awesome. I got some carpet, too, but the minute they come out of the box, Fury's going to be restricted and she is not going to be happy about that. I think I'll probably expand their living quarters on Sunday.
They are getting to be as amusing as all else. Regular puppy gladiators. I was trimming nails yesterday (no screaming anymore - good job me on the socialization) and Reid sat there looking at me like, "Dude, aren't you going to pick me up? Aren't you? Aren't you?"
When I came out today to clean their box, I must have scared the little guy because he barked at me. Yup, I knew they'd be guardy. got to work on that. Three week old barking's sorta cute, but I remind my gentle readers that despite them being ADORABLE, they also have the potential to be a handful in the temperament department. Friends in town keep telling me that they are tempted to get a puppy, but people don't know what these little guys are. Plus, you know, I am looking for non-pet-only homes for them.
Well, Chris just finished our new photo shoot. Being that I enjoy mocking dog culture a bit, this "prop" set should be awesome. After all, my puppies are so cute, you could just eat them up! Just saying.
Will you start introducing some kibble this week?
